In my opinion...
• What is your opinion about having an exotic
pet at home?
I don’t
like the idea of having exotic pets at home, because people are taking them out
of their natural environments and, in many cases, stressing them with excessive
contact with humans or small places to live. They even have to buy special
accessories or food, trying to replicate their habitats. The commerce of exotic
animals is becoming a bargain to many opportunists who treat them like things.
I don’t like this, but I would approve it just in particular cases, like when
the animals are in danger and needs some attention.
I’m not
against the legalization of marijuana because I think the authorities should
pay more attention to other drugs (I wouldn’t like the legalization of other
drugs). It has been a long battle against marijuana, but the reality is that
this drug in particular hasn’t reported any deaths at all (with the information
I have about it). Its legalization would decrease drug trafficking with the installation
of established and legal shops, and by the way, people will continue consuming
it no matter what (let the free will be, with the condition of not harming
others).
I
completely agree with cloning, but just with somatic cells. There are a few
clinical studies about the use of this technique in humans and it has shown
surprisingly good results, so it’s the perfect candidate for a new way of
curing difficult diseases (the harm of cellular tissues or genetic problems). I’m
not really a good advocate of other types of cloning like the germinal one or
the cloning of complete organisms, because it will probably cause terrible
problems in bioethics.
I think recycling
is of vital importance. We can clearly see what trash is making to our world, increasing
contamination and using a vast space that we could take advantage of. Everybody
gets surprised when the news shows images of how dirty the oceans are, the
accumulation of plastic is certainty really impressive, and with our
imagination as humans we could reduce this recycling the things we don’t use or
taking them to “green points” near our homes.
cloning would help a lot in the treatment of diseases that still dont have a cure
ReplyDeleteIt is true, there is a great likelihood that exotic pets die when removed from their natural environment.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that we need to use more green points to reduce the trash and the pollution in our oceans.
ReplyDeleteI agree with recycling, we need to reduce our trash... the ocean is the most affected and its animals :(
ReplyDeleteI agree with recycling, because if we don´t recycle, in a long term, the pollution will end up with our ozone layer and it will be chaotic!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about that exoctics animals should live in their natural enviroment unless they are in danger!
