About pets, love and friendship
Since I was a little kid, I always wanted to have a pet of
my own, but it was never satisfied by my parents because they said it was such
a big responsibility and they would end taking care of him/her. I didn’t really
care what kind of animal I wanted to have, but the one I preferred the most was
a cat. Until today, it really fascinates me their personality, how introvert
and independent they are, and of course those adorable paws, soft fur and big
eyes.
One day, approximately 2 years ago, my cousin talked to me
because she rescued a cat from streets. Well, it wasn’t a real rescue per se, the
cat was homeless and skinny, and she just used to go to my cousin’s house in
search of food, but at time passed, she was staying longer periods of time until
my cousin decided to adopt her. Then, when she went to sterilize her, she
noticed the cat was pregnant. I don’t remember how many babies she had, but it
was a lot and my cousin needed to find them a home. That’s when my cousin
recurred to me, and I took a little kitten to my house after my mom’s heart
softened. I called him Igor, and my heart melts everytime I remember him, he’s
such an adorable creature.
When he first came to my house, he was really scared,
confused, and searched for his mom, but then he lay down on his new bed and
forgot everything else. He used to be very playful and restless at the
beginning, usually refused a little bit the affection I gave him, but after a
few weeks I felt his confidence on me. He liked to sleep on my legs and when I
scratched his chin, now I miss those details so much, because I moved to my
grandma’s house and he stayed with my mom and brothers, but Igordito is always
on my mind.
You remind me of my best friend! jajaja she loves cats! more than dogs! like you jajaj
